Judy, a Certified Diabetes Educator and Registered Dietitian with 18 years experience has a proven track record in behavior change strategies. She has completed her undergraduate degree at Long Island University, New York graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Judy continued her education by completing a dietetic internship at Beth Israel Medical Center, a Harvard Teaching Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Prior to starting private practice she served as the disease management and diabetes coordinator for Stanly Regional Hospital. Under her leadership, the diabetes program has achieved ADA recognition for 2003 and 2006.
Accomplishments include attaining NCQA recognition for Diabetes care for Piedmont Endocrinology and receiving Advanced Practice Diabetes Care Training. In addition she s recognized as a Certified Pump Trainer as well as an active member of the Charlotte Dietetic Association and Metrolina Association of Diabetes Educators.
Judy prides herself in her approach of personal medical nutrition therapy, providing each client a customized meal plan, that meets their goals for success and disease management/prevention. A New York native, she now resides with her two daughters and husband in Charlotte, NC. |
