What is an RD (Registered Dietitian)?
Registered Dietitians are food and nutrition experts who have completed a minimum of a bachelors degree at an accredited university /college and have passed a national exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. All Dietitians must complete continuing education requirements to maintin registration.
What is a CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator)?
Certified Diabetes Educators are health professionals who specialize and are credentialed by a National Board to teach people with diabetes how to manage their condition.
I've tried lots of diets; What makes your services different?
Personalized and customized nutritional plans set us apart from other weight loss programs or nutritionists. Our Registered Dietitans do what it takes to ensure your success.
What happens at the first consultation?
The first consultation is a time for you and your Dietitian to establish rapport, review medical history and discuss goals. Initial meal planning with an individualized approach will be discussed and doable tips provided to get you started.
Do you have appointments available nights and weekends?
Yes! We take appointments as late as 7pm and have Saturday appointments for your convenience.
How often will I have to come?
Typically, each client attends an initial session and their meal planning session. At that point, 30 minute follow ups are recommended monthly, bi monthly or quarterly based on medical diagnosis, level of support needed and insurance limitations.
Do you accept insurance and is this covered?
Yes! Our office contracts with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, Multi-Plan & more!
I don't have insurance; How much does this cost?

We do give a 'time of service discount' if insurance does not pay for your appointments.
Prices are as follows:
Initial Visit: $99
Meal Planning Visit: $74
30 minute Follow ups: $49

We gladly accept Visa/Mastercard , personal check or cash payments

Our office does a wonderful job in keeping wait times to no longer than 2 weeks once you call to schedule appointment.
