Beth has lived with Type 1 diabetes since 1962 without any of the expected complications. Her diagnosis lead her into the field of dietetics to help others face living with diabetes as successfully as God had allowed her.
Beth earned her BS in 1980 and MS in 1994 from Winthrop University. Beth has served on the national board of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, the board of the local association of diabetes educators, chartered a new dietetic association and served as its fourth President before it dissolved and rejoined the Charlotte Dietetic Association. She has been active on the legislative side of both groups for years.
Beth believes in helping each client reach their desired level of control of their glucose, weight, cholesterol or any nutritional issue one step at a time. In her spare time she walks, studies the Holy Scripture and enjoys App State sports.
Beth lives in Gastonia with her husband as her son establishes his life in Cedar Mountain, NC. Beth operates out of our Gastonia location.
